spring or foam mattress

All our foams are certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class 1 for baby articles) as an allergen-free and CFC-free mattress material. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a globally standardized testing and certification system for all raw, semi-finished and finished textile products at all processing stages as well as for all accessory materials.

The fabrics used by Swiss Bedding for the manufacture of mattress covers are certified by our manufacturer. Oeko-Tex, class 1. Class 1 is the strictest since it even applies to toys, textiles and bedding foams for babies and young children. The Oeko-Tex label defines strict conditions for the use of components included in the manufacture of textile products so that they are not harmful to health. It is a guarantee of good quality because it is the most demanding on the market.

This standard guarantees you a product:

  • without allergenic dyes

  • without azo dyes or derivatives

  • PH value compatible with even sensitive skin

A test was carried out on two pieces of textiles of 64cm². One of the two textiles was treated with Purotex®, the other not.

Both textiles were subjected to an environment of 30° and 80% humidity for 14 days. Following this incubation, the results showed a significant reduction in the amount of dust mite allergens by 89% in the Purotex® treated textile compared to the untreated textile.

According to a report from the BMA Laboratory located in Germany, here are the results observed using this technology:

93.7% reduction in dust mites

66.7% reduction in cat hair

92.8% reduction in dog hair

SOY

The soy extracts used are not genetically modified. In this way, we combine the quality of a high resilience foam, with an open cell structure and thus allowing optimal air circulation and offering greater and better elasticity and durability, with the ecology of a product made from natural and renewable raw materials, using techniques that respect the environment. This structure is also present in our viscoelastic products.

COTTON

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading textile process standard for organic fibres, comprising ecological and social criteria, which are supported by independent certification of the entire supply chain.

The aim of this standard is to define globally recognised requirements to ensure the organic nature of textiles from the harvesting of raw materials, through socially and environmentally responsible manufacturing, to labelling, in order to provide a reliable guarantee to the end consumer. Textile processors and manufacturers must be able to export their organic fabrics and garments with a certification accepted in all major markets.
