INTERVIEW
Mattress maintenance
You need to be careful during the first few days you have your mattress, because the soft filling materials need to settle in order to mold to your body. In addition, it is strongly recommended to change your sheets frequently and to vacuum them to get rid of dust, deposits and mites. Regular maintenance of your bedding, mattress and box spring will ensure that you benefit from an average of ten years of good and loyal service.
In order to keep your mattress uniform, remember to reverse the ends (head/foot). Always place your mattress on a ventilated surface (e.g. box springs, upholsterers, pallet frames).
Cleaning a liquid
If you spill liquid on your mattress, here's what to do:
We cannot guarantee that the stain or odor will disappear completely.
• Remove the cover and wash it in cold water with a mild detergent.
• Then air dry it for best results. Never use bleach.
• After removing the cover, blot up as much liquid as possible using towels, pressing the material as needed.
• Once excess moisture has been removed, allow the mattress to air dry. To speed up drying, you can use a fan directed towards the mattress.
• Do not wash Swiss Bedding materials.
Cleaning the cover
All our mattresses are equipped with a removable and washable cover. We recommend using a low temperature cycle (max. 30°) for washing and spinning. Under no circumstances should it be dried in a machine, air drying is best. Do not use bleaching agents or strong stain removers, whatever their nature.
Moving your mattress
Transporting mattresses
If necessary, you can fold your mattress lengthwise to make it easier to transport. However, be careful to fold it so that the memory foam is inside. Do not leave it in this position for too long.
Storage
Always store your mattress flat, not on its side or folded.
Mattress handles
The handles attached to the mattresses are only used to position them, not to transport them.
